Meet the Founders

Valerie Sudduth

 Valerie Sudduth is a distinguished U.S. Navy Veteran and accomplished executive with over 28 years of leadership in military healthcare, business development, and project management, now channeling her expertise into ValKri Consulting and Project Management to empower organizations in achieving strategic growth and operational excellence. As a former Director of Business Development for First Dawn Recovery and Desert Winds Recovery, she spearheaded the expansion of mental health startups, forging partnerships that maintained full census across 40 beds and launched innovative outpatient clinics through rigorous market analyses and veteran-centered training programs earning commendations from Hillsborough County Commissioners and U.S. Congressional Representatives for her service to Veterans, Active Duty personnel, and First Responders. In roles such as Regional Account Manager for Patriot Support Programs and North Carolina Regional Military Liaison, Valerie cultivated expansive referral networks spanning 37 military installations, 14 VA Medical Centers, and community partners, driving an 18% year-over-year increase in patient days while authoring SOPs, virtual IOP models, and statewide directories to streamline access to behavioral health services. Her Navy tenure as Clinic Director and Director of Medical Services honed her skills in managing multidisciplinary teams of up to 570 personnel, overseeing multimillion-dollar budgets, and leading crisis responses from COVID-19 surge staffing to humanitarian missions in multiple countries, among them, Honduras and Vietnam bolstered by her Project Management certification, Lean Six Sigma Belt certification, and a forthcoming Master's in Forensic Science from National University. At ValKri, Valerie delivers tailored consulting in strategic planning, risk management, process optimization, and cross-sector partnerships, helping clients in healthcare, military, and community sectors navigate complex challenges with precision, fostering sustainable outcomes and mission-ready teams. 

Kristin Pelletier

 Kristin is a seasoned executive with over 17 years of expertise in mental health and substance use disorder treatment, specializing in project management, business development, and strategic consulting for residential & outpatient programs serving veterans, active-duty military, National Guard, first responders, civilians and underserved communities. Through ValKri, she drives transformative growth, including scaling multi-location networks to increase bed census, launching adolescent and mental health service lines, boosting call volumes, and forging partnerships with VA systems, Tricare, military bases, and national nonprofits to expand access to care. Kristin excels in building high-performing teams, implementing KPIs and SOPs, optimizing CRM/EMR platforms, delivering targeted marketing, SEO strategy collaboration, compliance & sustainability standards and cross-sector collaborations among other skills. A critical thinker and empathetic leader with military base access, she bridges barriers in dynamic environments, ensuring sustainable outcomes in service recovery, risk management, and executive presentations.

Frances Staub

 Frances brings nearly a decade of expertise in treatment program management, development, and clinical operations. She leads cross-functional teams to design, implement, and refine evidence-based models, drawing on utilization management and data analytics for strategic, results-driven impact. Her contributions include crafting research-backed curricula, scaling innovative programs, and training staff in trauma-informed practices to boost care quality and efficiency. Committed to collaboration and transparency, Frances partners with organizations to strengthen systems, streamline workflows, and deliver meaningful, client-centered results.

Phillip Pelletier

SSG Phillip Pelletier is a battle-tested leader and strategic consultant with nearly 14 years in the U.S. Army, specializing in high-stakes project management, team empowerment, and operational excellence at ValKri Consulting. From his role as Squad Leader and Maintenance Technician in the Idaho National Guard, where he managed a $5 million property portfolio, maintained 60 HMMWVs, and drove a 500% increase in VISMOD program adoption through expert briefings and training, achieving 100% annual mission success, to his Assistant Team Leader position at Fort Carson, elevating a six-person reconnaissance team to top 10% fitness standards and 100% expert weapon qualifications via targeted mentorship and LPD sessions for audiences up to 100+. Earlier tactical roles, including Sniper, Grenadier, and award-winning Heavy Weapons Gunner in Italy, refined his precision in risk assessment and resource allocation. Now, he leverages military and VA networks, CRM proficiency, and warm introductions to streamline referrals and collaborations. At ValKri, Phillip's philosophy of accountable innovation bridges military rigor with corporate agility, delivering transformative results for clients in consulting and veteran-focused projects. Phillip works alongside Nick Sudduth as the ValKri Marketing & Growth Team, delivering tailored treatment options to executives in treatment settings across the U.S.  

Nick Sudduth

Nicholas Sudduth is a seasoned operations executive and retired U.S. Navy Chief Petty Officer with an active Secret Security Clearance and over 20 years of cross-functional leadership in high-stakes environments, specializing in military medicine, logistics, and process optimization. A graduate of National University and Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt-certified professional, he excels in driving multimillion-dollar programs to peak efficiency, having overseen $108M in annual healthcare operations while managing teams of up to 368 personnel across seven sites serving 140,000 clients. His expertise spans strategic planning, crisis management from spearheading COVID-19 response protocols to establishing regional testing sites and talent development, including career counseling and diversity initiatives honed through the Senior Enlisted Academy and Command Drug and Alcohol Program Advisor training. Transitioning seamlessly to civilian impact, Nick previously coordinated nationwide transport logistics for substance abuse recovery programs at First Dawn Recovery and currently serves as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of ValKri Consulting and Project Management, in addition to his ongoing role as a veteran mentor for Pinellas County Veterans Treatment Court. Nick brings a results-oriented approach to ValKri Consulting, fostering stakeholder relationships, mitigating risks, and delivering measurable ROI through innovative, data-driven solutions that empower teams and propel organizational growth.
